2016년 4월 26일 ~ 29일, “한중 해양 핵안전 모니터링 및 예측시스템 연구”사업 제 2 차 기술회의가 중국 지난(濟南)에서 개최되었다. 이번 회의에는 한국해양과학기술원의 정경태 박사, 김석현 박사, 김경옥 박사, 김영호 박사, 중국 국가해양국 제1해양연구소의 인쉰치앙(尹?强) 박사, 짜오창(趙昌) 박사, 루징(蘆靜)박사, 왕관숴(王關鎖) 박사, 샤오빈(肖斌) 박사, 한중해양과학공동연구센터의 권재일 소장, 정웨이(鄭偉) 부소장 등 15명이 참석하였다.

 

  이번 기술회의에서, 양측 연구팀은 “Ocean/Climate Prediction System applying Ensemble Optimal Interpolation”, “Distribution of 137Cs & 134Cs from the Fukushima nuclear accident”, “The EAKF data assimilation of ocean and climate models”, “Extreme wave simulation due to Typhoon Bolaven”, “Simulation and validation of internal tide in a global eddy-resolving wave-tide-circulation coupled ocean model”, “Po-210 distribution in the food chains of Korean coastal waters”, “Modelling suspended sediment by considering enhanced roughness from movable ripples under waves and currents in Jervis Bay, Australia”, “Suggestion on Cooperative research”에 대해 발표를 하였으며, 핵안전과 관련된 분야에 관한 협력 아이디어 개발, 젊은 과학자 상호 방문 등에 대해 의견을 교환하였다.
