The Agreement on the Establishment of the China-Korea Joint Ocean Research Center was signed. China-Korea Joint Ocean Research Center (CKJORC) was founded in Qingdao. Dr. Yuan Yeli, former Director-General of the First Institute of Oceanography (FIO), SOA, was appointed as the first director (part-time appointment) of CKJORC.

Dr. Yi Soon-Kil, a senior scientist from Korea Ocean Research and Development Institute (KORDI), was appointed as Vice-Director of CKJORC.

Dr. Yi Soon-Kil, a senior scientist from KORDI, was appointed as the Director of CKJORC. Mr. Chen Suitian, a senior scientist with FIO, was appointed as the Vice-Director of CKJORC.

Mr. Yu Yuancheng, former Director of International Cooperation Department, SOA, was appointed as the third Director of CKJORC. Mr. Park Jin-Kyun from KORDI was appointed as the Vice-Director of CKJORC.

The 5th anniversary ceremony of CKJORC

Dr. Lee Dong-Young from KORDI was appointed as the fourth Director of CKJORC. Mr. Tan Gongke from FIO was appointed as the Vice-Director of CKJORC.

The 10th anniversary ceremony of CKJORC

Dr. Jung Hoi-Soo from KORDI was appointed as the sixth Director of CKJORC. Mr. Han Jingyun from FIO was appointed as the Vice-Director of CKJORC.

Mr. Zhu Mingyuan from FIO was appointed as the seventh Director of CKJORC. Mr. Kim Hyun-Yeong from KORDI was appointed as the Vice-Director of CKJORC.

The seventh Vice-Director changed, Mr. Kang Hae Seok from KORDI was appointed as the Vice-Director of CKJORC.

Dr. Park Kwang Soon from KORDI was appointed as the eighth Director of CKJORC. Dr. Chen Shang from FIO was appointed as the Vice-Director of CKJORC.

The 15th anniversary ceremony of CKJORC

Dr. Zhang Zhaohui from FIO was appointed as the ninth Director of the CKJORC. Mr. Koo Bon Kwan from KORDI was appointed as the Vice-Director of CKJORC.

Dr. Kwon Jae Il from KIOST was appointed as the tenth Director of CKJORC. Dr. Zheng Wei from FIO was appointed as the Vice-Director of CKJORC.

Mr. Yang Yafeng from FIO was appointed as the 11th Director of CKJORC. Dr. Jung Kyung Tae from KIOST was appointed as the Vice-Director of CKJORC.

Dr. Oh Young Min from KIOST was appointed as the 12th Director of CKJORC. Dr. Liu Haixing from FIO was appointed as the Vice-Director of CKJORC.
